Temple Oheb Shalom Youth Groups

Temple Oheb Shalom has youth groups designed to match the different ages and interests of youths.

OSTRYG elects a teen leadership board each year that helps plan the calendar of events for the year. Members are also actively involved in National Federation of Temple Youth – Mid Atlantic Region (NFTY-MAR) where they have the opportunity to unite with Jewish youth from Delaware to North Carolina.
2. Junior OSTRYG, grades 6-8. Holds events that tie in social activities with Jewish services, social action, and contemporary themes.
3. Micro OSTRYG, grades 3-5. Holds events that tie in social activities with Jewish services, social action, and contemporary themes.
4. rHouse is a post-B’nai Mitzvah program that provides teens with more experience-oriented educational opportunities. It aims to raise the quality of immersive programming while not requiring the time commitment of conventional Hebrew school
