Provides comprehensive benefits outreach and application assistance to help individuals apply for benefit programs that help them afford food, shelter, healthcare, and prescriptions. It also assists Marylanders in applying for the Food Supplement Program (855) 444-4998, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Residents (with or without health insurance) can be connected 24/7 to a healthcare professional for information, support and instructions. Also provides referrals to food, shelter and emergency housing, access to transitional housing, utility assistance, tax help, eviction prevention services, childcare services, job training, prescription assistance, and addiction treatment.
Includes food distribution sites, primary care clinics for the uninsured and locations of grocery stores with special services for seniors.
Has extended a special enrollment period for health plans until December 15. Medicaid enrollment is available all year (855) 642-8572, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
For older adults living alone, a free daily automated call at a regularly scheduled time between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
